Myth: UCDS only designs control rooms!

 

UCDS is recognized as experts in control room design, but that is not all we do. To start with the control room is just a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to effective operations. Just like any building the occupants need facilities such as restrooms and breakrooms, but they also need facilities for other activities such as training and don’t forget supervision and support functions. When we do a control room project, we look at the whole building and all the tasks that the occupants need to take care of. The ISO 11064 standard refers to the immediate control room area as the control suite and the building as the control building. We have the experience and knowledge to help you effectively design all these functional areas.
